TPP Overview

The Transition Partnership Program (TPP) connects high school students with disabilities to the California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) and assists with their transition to work. TPP helps students overcome barriers to employment. Assistance may include direct job development, vocational training, or post-secondary education.

Each student in TPP is assigned to a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor. The counselor along with WESELPA staff work with students until they are successfully placed in employment for a minimum of 90 days.

The West End SELPA together with the California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) assists Californians with disabilities to obtain and retain employment and maximize their ability to live independently in their communities.
