WorkAbility 1
WorkAbility 1 (WAI) and the Transition Partnership Program (TPP) work together to provide employment training opportunities for businesses and qualifying individuals with special needs in and out of the classroom. Funding is received through a variety of agencies such as the California Department of Education (CDE), Special Education Division and the California Department of Rehabilitation (DoR). These programs provide comprehensive pre-employment training, employment placement and follow-up for participating students. Workers Compensation coverage is provided by the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools. Employers may be eligible for tax credits for direct hires.
